Pattiseema is located on the banks of the River Godavari. The famous Sri Veerabhadra Swamy or Sri Veereswara Swamy Temple is located on Deva-kuta Hill in the middle of the River Godavari at Pattiseema Village in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. The temple is one of the Panoha Kshetras, the other four Shiva Temples are at Kedrarnath, Kashi, Kalahasthi and Srisailam.
