Two official covers of Tilak were cut, opened and then joined in such a way available to paste Tilak's picture of Lala Lajpatrai, Bipinchandra Pal along with Lokmanya Tilak. The picture and Tilak's stamps were juxtaposed and they were having a tied first day cancellation. The outlined picture of Tilak is hand drawn on right side of the cover.
