It stars Rani Mukerji and Amitabh Bachchan giving tribute to Helen Keller's life. It shows the remorseless conditioning of a deaf and blind child who gets frustrated because of the Black world before a teacher (Amitabh Bachchan) comes in her life to raise her as a phoenix from the ashes. He makes her feel the world despite she being physically challenged but later on, ends up suffering from Alzheimer's himself.
