Sometimes India Post authorities issue sheets containing lesser number of stamps in comparison to ordinary sheets. These sheets are similar in size but with broader ornamental borders normally containing 16 to 20 stamps, some of it may contain even lesser number of stamps, such sheets are called Sheetlets. India's first Sheetlet was issued on 26-April-2002 in connection with golden jubilee of diplomatic relation between India & Japan.
