New gumming - wet well and press, I.S.P. NASHIK Road
The previous practice of writing the inscriptions "India Security Press, Nasik Road" was further continued, though the spelling of "Nasik" changed to "Nashik" by 1985.
When vegetable gum used on Indian stamps was changed to synthetic gum in August/September 1985, the inscription on the margin carried instruction for the public along with Printer's name - "New gumming - wet well and press, I.S.P. Nashik Road".
